With summer approaching, The Clifton Hotel in Scarborough has slashed its rates in half, offering stays with meals from just £47 per room, per night.

The £47 rate applies to Sunday stays. You can stay midweek (Monday-Thursday) for £49 and weekends (Friday-Saturday) for £53, with a minimum two-night stay for Saturday arrivals. Midweek stays will also get a FREE Superior Room upgrade (subject to availability). The offer is available every day until 20 July, but be sure to book before 30 April to get this rate.

Update (23/04/08, 11:30 BST): The offer has now sold out for the following dates: 4, 12-15 & 25 May; 20 & 21 June; 4 & 5 July.

The offer includes full breakfast and a three-course table d'hote dinner in the hotel's restaurant. You can also take advantage of the following discounts:
